Founded in 1959, Reward Trolleys is the UK's Leading Manufacturer of Hotel and Restaurant Service Supplies.

Set in the heart of Yorkshire, this family run company supplies the UK’s most premium hotels with a wide range of trolleys and high quality hotel supplies. We are also delighted to hold long term contracts with the NHS and County Council purchasing organisations to supply many hospitals and schools.

All of our products are manufactured in Britain to the highest standard by our experienced craftsmen, many of which have been with the company for years.

Our Story

  • 1959

    Beginning of Reward Manufacturing

    Reward Manufacturing Co Ltd was incorporated on 11 December 1959 by Henry Young, who started out by selling brushes and brooms door to door. After several years, Mr Young created Institution Supplies (Leeds) Ltd, with Reward created as its manufacturing arm.

    The Creation of Our First Catalogue

    The first catalogue for the company was produced, and we still have an original copy to this day.

    1966

    Reward Outgrew its Premises

    The company grew and needed to move to a new premises Highfield Mills in Gildersome. The new site allowed for extensive warehouse storage, a factory for Reward and a customer showroom. Over the years, the site was extended to cope with added demand for the Reward Brand products.

    1980

    Reward Manufacturing Was Bought By Keith Hooper

    In the mid 1980s Reward Manufacturing and Institution Supplies Leeds Ltd was sold to Keith Hooper, who continued to manufacture at the site in Gildersome.

    1990's

    Reward Supplies Trolleys to Major Places and Events

    During its time in Sackville Street, the company manufactured trolleys for a number of leading hotels in the UK and further abroad. It was also at this time that Reward supplied housekeeping trolleys into Buckingham Palace, made a trolley to hold the Cheltenham Gold Cup and fitted out many of the P&O Cruise ships.

    2001

    From Salesman to Director

    In 2001 Jonathan Keith’s son joined the company as a salesman looking after the north of England. Jonathan is still with the company to this day as Managing Director.

    2018

    Reward Outgrew its Premisis Again

    Reward stayed in Skipton for over 20 years, but with the growth of the company, we needed to look for a larger factory and subsequently moved to Keighley in 2018.

    The UK's Leading Manufacturer of Trolleys

    Reward is still the leading manufacturer of trolleys for many of the leading hotels, including manufacturing a trolley for the president of Kenya, the Ritz, Claridge’s, Gordon Ramsay, and shipping trolleys as far field as Australia, Singapore, South America, North America.
